In order to up the excitement in the e-learning space, Shine.com is launching an e-learning platform, Shine Learning. With the vision to up-skill the Indian talent pool to adapt to the changing job market, Shine Learning will provide certification courses in various domains.

Zairus Master, CEO of Shine.com in an exclusive conversation with People Matters shares, “Shine’s ultimate vision is to prepare candidates for the future and not just their next job. It takes a longer term of view of a candidate’s career and caters to all candidates who are looking for resume services, career advice, professional profiles, certifications or e-learning courses, under one umbrella in the form of an integrated career solution.”

Seeing the potential in the e-learning category and a direct connection with its core job seeker audience, Shine decided to launch the Shine Learning portal for a more direct online user experience.

The online job portal also conducts Shine Job fairs across India for in-person interview opportunities. Talking about the learning platform, Zairus shares that Shine Learning uses data to map demand of various skill sets across industries and accordingly provide courses. The platform uses an algorithm that not only predicts emerging skill sets but also recommends courses to its users after analyzing a candidate’s resume and application history. He adds that Shine Learning is a learning marketplace where they partner with vendor across the globe to provide best course content.

“The biggest challenge that we had to overcome while conceptualizing Shine Learning was to building awareness about the right skill. Creating awareness of the fact that the workforce in the future will be responsible for their skilling will continue to be our challenge that we strive to solve.”, says Zairus.

From an employer perspective, recruiters can use Shine Learning to find candidates who are skilled in technology or competence relevant to their needs. Shine has partnered with some of the course providers like Vskills, Digital Vidya, Tax Sutra, Get Cert Go and more to provide courses like Courses like Big Data, Digital Marketing, PMP, Six Sigma, SHRM-SCP, and GST, etc. The courses are designed in line with the hiring trends and which have high acceptance in the market.
