BCG’s Rahul Guha to join Thyrocare Technologies as MD & CEO in May 2022

Thyrocare is the owner of popular healthcare platform Pharmeasy. As its new MD & CEO, Guha will be tasked to scale their diagnostics targets and expand into newer global markets.
BCG’s Rahul Guha to join Thyrocare Technologies as MD & CEO in May 2022

Thyrocare Technologies Limited has named BCG’s Rahul Guha as the company's new Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer. As per the company news, Guha would take office on 16th May, 2022.

Thyrocare Technologies was founded in 1996 by Arokiaswamy Velumani  and is a multinational chain of diagnostic and preventive care laboratories, headquartered in Navi Mumbai, Maharashtra. The company has a total of 1,122 outlets and collection centers across India and parts of Nepal, Bangladesh and the Middle East. 

The pan-India diagnostic laboratory services provider’s choice is a graduate from IIM Bangalore, who spent close to two decades at Boston Consulting Group. At BCG, Guha was leading the Health Care and Life Sciences practices.

Prior to joining BCG, Rahul has been the co-founder and CEO of Nautilus Software and the Chief Technology Office (CTO) at ValuePay.com where he was responsible for product development in the US Market.  He has extensive project experience in MedTech and HealthTech and has worked closely with multiple startups on their digital incubation.

Siddharth Shah, MD and CEO at API Holdings’s Thyrocares parent company, said, “As we strive towards making healthcare affordable and accessible to every single Indian, we are extremely excited to have Rahul join us in our mission.” 

He also added that he is elated to share that Rahul will be leading Thyrocare as its MD and CEO and will also be responsible for diagnostics as a segment at the group level. His invaluable experience of over two decades in healthcare will help the company scale their diagnostics franchise.
