Belong’s Aadil Bandukwala moves to HackerRank

Aadil Bandukwala has joined HackerRank as their APAC Director of Field Marketing. The technology hiring platform has been backed by Y Combinator, Khosla Ventures, Battery Ventures, and JMI Equity.

Prior to HackerRank, Bandukwala worked at Belong.co as their Chief Evangelist & Vice President Marketing, where he was responsible for the development and execution of the company’s go-to-market strategy in addition to market awareness, demand generation, and field enablement programs. His association with Belong started in 2015 when he first joined as an evangelist and fulfilled various roles such as Evangelist & head of Customer Marketing, and Evangelist & Head of PR.

Having previously worked at companies such as Dell and LinkedIn, Bandukwala brings with him an extensive experience of working across functions in various sectors, conceptualising and driving thought leadership agenda, working with data, analytics and marketing professionals to drive brand impact across both online and offline channels.

He has helped Belong create the evangelism playbook and made some major inroads in disrupting traditional practices of recruiting and creating the hiring mantra for the digital age. Himself a growth-driven leader, Bandukwala is excited about the future of technology and urges his team members to “do more of what works and eliminate what doesn’t.”

With this appointment, HackerRank is more than likely to refocus on creating a footprint in the APAC region and drive both employer branding and business outreach across the different countries.
