The FinTech giant is on a senior team hiring spree to support its aggressive business expansion plans for 2020.
BharatPe onboards Dhruv Bahl to head operations

BharatPe, India’s Fintech company further strengthens its top management with the hiring of Dhruv Bahl as its ‘Head of Operations’. In this role, he will be responsible for overall operations across merchant acquisitions, servicing, payments, lending and commerce. 

Dhruv has more than 13 years of experience having worked at Fortis, Bain & Company, PayTM, Airtel Payments Bank and Roadzen. An INSEAD alumnus, Dhruv also holds a Masters in Quantitative Finance from Cass Business School, UK, and a Bachelors in Biomedical Engineering from Boston University, USA. 

Dhruv started his career with Fortis Healthcare and was associated with the healthcare company for 6 years in various P&L management, business operations and strategy roles. Post his MBA from INSEAD, Dhruv joined Bain & Company and was responsible for executing strategy & management consulting assignments in the APAC & MENA regions. He led Business Operations for Paytm during crucial demonetization phase managing over 1,000 people across various functions for both its business verticals, payments and e-commerce.

Speaking on the appointment, Ashneer Grover, Co-founder of BharatPe said, "Dhruv is first among the significant new hires BharatPe will be announcing in Q1 of 2020. Dhruv brings the right mix of strategic thinking and urge to get hands dirty in operations. He has seen both the hustle at start-ups and operational efficiencies at larger established businesses. Efficient ops is key to a profitable and sustainable business." Ashneer added.
