Cargill Business Services has appointed Raj Karunakaran to lead their global HR. In his role of Global HR Leader, he will take accountability for interpreting business strategies and challenges into human capital strategies, plans, HR actions across six global strategic locations at Bangalore, San Jose, Uberlandia, Nanjing, Sofia, Rosario, and Gurugram.
On Wednesday, Karunakaran announced this development through a LinkedIn post. His post mentions, “After a great inning of close to a decade at Philips, moved to Cargill this week as Global HR Leader for Cargill Business Services.”
Before Cargill Business Services, Karunakaran was working with Philips and was the Director-HR and Global HR Business Partner for Philips Mobile Surgery Business. He joined Philips in the year 2009 Senior Manager - Human Resources for Philips Healthcare R&D. Karunakaran comes with an impressive experience of over 20 years and started his career with Tech Mahindra. He has also worked for companies like AstraZeneca and Fidelity Investment.
Certified as SAFe Agilist by Scaled Agile Academy, ICF accredited Coach and Change Facilitator; he is adept at spearheading performance management, rewards & recognition programs, L&D initiatives and employee engagement activities.
