Cipla appoints new Global Head of Talent Management

Pharmaceutical major Cipla has named Ratna Joshi as its new Global Head - Talent Management.

Ratna comes with over 16 years of diverse experience as an HR Business Partner and Corporate/COE domains of Learning & Development, Talent Management, and Organization Development across diverse industries, in both domestic and global operations.

Prior to joining Cipla, Joshi was working with Mahindra & Mahindra as Head of Learning & Development (DGM) - Mahindra & Mahindra (Automotive & Farm Equipment Sectors). She has worked at M&M for more than a decade in various roles.

Ratna started her career in 2005 as a Unit HR Business partner at Shoppers Stop before moving to Reliance Retail. She also worked with Tata Motors, Fiat Brands as HR Business Partner for more than three years.

An alumnus of Nirma University, Ahmedabad, Ratna’s forte lies in delivering business-focused people solutions in the domains of strategic capability building, cultural shifts, organization development, succession planning, hi-potential identification and development, leadership development, human capital planning, strategic hiring & talent acquisition for greenfield businesses, organizational restructuring, driving engagement & cultural change through an integrated approach (process & people), crafting and institutionalizing EVP and D&I roadmap. It is this deep expertise that Cipla is hoping to leverage with this appointment.
