Edtech startup CarveNiche Technologies has appointed Vivek Shaurya as the Co-Founder, Chief Experience Officer & MD. Vivek previously held the position of Senior Director, Customer Experience at Infosys. Vivek comes with over 22 years of rich expertise and has held various leadership positions at Infosys. 

Speaking on the development, Avneet Makkar, Founder & CEO, CarveNiche said, “It’s expected to be a game changing development for CarveNiche. Vivek brings significant industry experience and a track record of successfully setting up strategic delivery units & business offering and leading them to exponential growth phase.”

The ed-tech startup has developed advanced products such as beGalileo-a personalized after school math learning program for K-12 education, Wisdom Leap- a free online source for K 12 education and Concept Tutors-a personalized 1:1 tutoring focussed on the international market). CarveNiche had also recently announced a partnership with Microsoft for its product beGalileo.

On his appointment, Vivek Shaurya stated, “CarveNiche is redefining the Edtech industry. I'm delighted to be part of such a high energy team.  My expertise in creating and marketing innovative products, along with my passion to enhance customer experience, makes CarveNiche the perfect fit for me.”

With this appointment, the startup is hoping to leverage Vivek’s deep expertise in technology, customer value realization through innovative solutions & go-to-market initiatives in order to boost its all-round efforts as it intensifies focus on growth, expansion in newer markets & differentiating technology capabilities. Its partnership with Microsoft was also a step in this direction as the partnership enabled it to connect with Microsoft’s customers in India, especially in the education sector.
