Two-wheeler giant Hero MotoCorp has created a new management position of Chief Growth Officer and elevated Chief Marketing Officer Ranjivjit Singh in the new role.

As per the company, the new role has been created to leverage the emerging post COVID-19 opportunities. The latest move follows the appointment of Arun Jaura as CTO, which was effective in January.  

Mike Clarke, Chief Operating Officer and Chief Human Resources Officer, Hero MotoCorp said that the company is now entering a new era of opportunities and growth with the world rapidly coming out of the Coronavirus pandemic.

“As we gear up to further consolidate our leadership by leveraging these emerging opportunities, we must stay nimble and dynamic which requires synergies between the key customer-facing functions of Marketing and Sales and After-Sales,” he added.

Ranjivjit Singh’s task would be to align and integrate the role,which has been created by merging the Marketing, Sales and After-Sales functions, with immediate effect.
