Industry veteran Manoj Kohli to chair Caret Capital's Investment Committee

Industry veteran Manoj Kohli joins Caret Capital as Investment Committee Chair to steer sustainable growth and early-stage venture investments.

Manoj Kohli, the former Country Head of SoftBank India and former MD & CEO of Airtel, will chair the investment committee of Caret Capital, a sustainability-focused early-stage venture capital fund.


According to a post on Caret Capital's website, Kohli will guide the company's investment decisions with deep strategic insight and proven experience in helping emerging category builders scale and become profitable.


He will also guide Caret Capital in driving its mission to create 10 million jobs, reduce carbon emissions by 10 million metric tons, and establish vibrant economic hubs in 10,000 villages across India.


Kohli is a seasoned entrepreneur and transformational business leader with a distinguished career spanning over 45 years across the telecom, manufacturing, renewable energy, and digital technology sectors. He was previously the Country Head of SoftBank India and MD & CEO of Airtel.


Known for his strategic vision, he has played a pivotal role in shaping India's mobile, satellite TV, clean energy, and digital technology landscape.
