Rajesh Gupta, Director, Human Resources, Michelin Tyres, has called it quits, as per a report by  ETAuto.

Gupta has over 30 years of experience in procurement, materials management, systems implementation, and vendor management. In addition, he has exposure in formulating and implementing annual corporate strategy by developing a mid-term strategy for purchase and establishing methods to achieve profit targets and material planning.

Before becoming Director, career management and recruitment for Michelin India in January 2016, Gupta was responsible for managing the commercial administration (supply chain) for the country as country manager - commercial administration (supply chain), from August 2010 to December 2013.

Later, he was elevated to India project leader for new ERP Backbone (Oracle) implementation for Michelin India for all modules from January 2014 which was successfully implemented in 2015

A mechanical engineer from MS Ramaiah Institute of Technology, Bengaluru, prior to Michelin, he has worked with JCB, Moser Baer, and HCL Infosystems in the field of procurement.
