Philips India appoints Armaan Seth as Head of Human Resources

Philips India, has announced the appointment of Armaan Seth as Head Human Resources for the Indian Sub-continent with effect from 1st November, 2017.

In his previous role as Global HR Head for Philips Global IT Function; he was working with the CIO as part of the Global IT Leadership Team where he led the implementation of a new Global Employee Footprint by leveraging Philips hubs in USA, Netherlands, India and China.

He has a strong record of accomplishment in driving People Transformation, Capability Improvement and Organization Effectiveness.

Commenting on his elevation as HR Head for Indian sub-continent, Armaan said, “I am happy to be back in India where our potential to positively impact people’s health& wellness is immense. Our HealthTech strategy helps usattract the best minds that are eager to work on products and solutions that make life better for consumers. As a team our focus will be to foster inspirational leadership at all levels, and provide our employees continued opportunities for growth across functions and geographies. Alongside, we will continueour efforts to promote an inclusive culturein all our offices with a focus on building diversity“.

Armaan is an MBA from XLRI Jamshedpur and comes with nearly 15 years of experience. He has been with Philips since 2011 serving in various positions across India and Netherlands before returning to India in his current role. 

In his new role, Armaan will be based in Gurgaon in the Philips Corporate office. He likes to be with his family in his spare time and enjoys watching Formula 1 and Football.
