Roland Smith joins Interglobe, will focus on leadership strategy

Roland Smith has joined as the Group Head for 'Leadership Strategy and Development' at Interglobe, moving from his previous role as Senior Vice President - Asia Pacific & Managing Director – Centre for Creative Leadership (CCL) Asia earlier in August 2017.

An experienced innovator and entrepreneur, Roland makes this move after having served 11 years at CCL where his business mandate was focused on CCL’s success in APAC region and expanding its footprints in several emerging economies.

Roland brings with him over two decades of experience and prior to CCL, he was Co-founder and President of a consulting firm focusing on organizational performance and talent management. He has also served as President of a human capital consulting firm. Considered as a subject matter expert at developing top teams, talent sustainability, change and transformation, Smith holds a Ph.D. in adult education with a focus on organizational learning from the University of Idaho and an M.A. in instructional/performance technology from Boise State University.

Interglobe Enterprises is a home-grown multinational with over 22,000 employees across the globe. The conglomerate has emerged as one of the world’s leading travel service providers, with its umbrella of businesses spanning across civil aviation, airline management, travel distribution, travel technology, hospitality, and education. Roland’s new role will be based out of Gurgaon.
