Sunstone Eduversity on Wednesday announced the appointment of Ankur Jain as Chief Business Officer. With over 12 years of expertise in Sales, Marketing and Business Development, he will be responsible for Sunstone Eduversity’s expansion into new geographies and for onboarding more campus and corporate partners for the brand.

Before joining Sunstone Eduversity’s leadership team, Jain worked with YourStory Media as a Director of Sales & Business Development, according to a statement. At YourStory, he was also responsible for tapping alternate channels of revenue and mapping the global expansion of the business.

Jain has earlier worked with Amazon as Regional Sales & Business Development Head, wherein he was leading the National and Regional Retail chains’ ecosystem for the business and was responsible for onboarding new partners across consumer categories.

He was previously also associated with Airtel India in the capacity of Business Head-Franchise Retail. In this role, Jain headed operations across 2,500 retail stores pan India in terms of Sales & Services. He is also an active member of the CII Start-up Council.

Jain established HostelFund in 2020, which he runs in parallel to managing his portfolio at Sunstone.
