Rajan Kohli, who was serving as the Global Head of Wipro Digital and Consulting has now been promoted as the President of Wipro Digital. He will continue to be the Global Head of Wipro Digital and will report to Chief Executive Officer Abidali Neemuchwal.

According to the research firms, Kohli took over as head of Wipro Digital in March 2015 and has guided it to become a $2 billion business for the company.

Ray Wang, Founder of Constellation Research shared in media that "Rajan has led the efforts to bring Wipro Digital from zero to $2 billion in a quick three years. We have seen him help clients bridge the gap in not only digital technology but also understanding the digital business models required for the success."

Kohli is one of the eight presidents at Wipro who reports to Neemuchwal.  The other seven presidents are Bhanumurthy Ballapuram (COO), Saurabh Govil (CHRO),  Anand Padmanabhan (Head of Strategic Sales), Shaji Farooq ( Head of Banking and Financial Services), N.S. Bala ( Head of Energy, Natural Resources, and Utilities ),  Srini Pallia ( Head of Consumer Business)  and Milan Rao, (Head of the Communications Business). 

Prio to this role, Rajan led the Banking and Financial Services division at Wipro. He also served as Wipro’s Chief Marketing Officer. He joined Wipro in 1995 and comes with an experience of 23 years. He did his MBA from IIM Bangalore and electronics engineering from Punjab Engineering College.
