Wipro Enterprises has announced the appointment of cybersecurity leader Vikram GR as Chief Information Security Officer (CISO). He will join from Diageo India, where he was in a similar capacity.

Vikram abides by the philosophy of cyber, risk-conscious IT & business processes and is credited towards the implementation of innovative cybersecurity user awareness programs in his previous stints. At Diageo India, he was responsible for Information Security Management, Audit & Controls Compliance, and data privacy.

As the new CISO of Wipro Enterprises, Vikram GR will be focusing on IT compliance besides Information Security Management. He will also be responsible for designing and executing the company’s information security strategy for the company.

In his career spanning over a decade, Vikram GR has worked with global organizations like EY, Protiviti, and Paladion. It is this exposure which Wipro will be counting on as they chart a successful path amidst the current market.
