Indeed today revealed the best places to work for in India, which was based on the reviews submitted by visitors on the job site. Google, BHEL, and SBI grabbed the first, second and third positions respectively. 

The other organizations which made it to the top ten are Amazon, Marriott International, Intel, American Express, IBM, TCS, and Hyatt, and in that order.

Talking about the rankings, Sashi Kumar, the Managing Director at Indeed India said, “Company reviews can greatly impact a job seeker's decision on where they apply. While compensation and job security are always top of mind for employees, we are seeing strong company culture and sense of community becoming just as much of a priority.”

The comprehensive list which captures companies from various fields like technology, healthcare, manufacturing, consumer goods and more, Kumar has said that there is a similarity in the reviews which have been received by them. He says, “People describe these top workplaces as ‘inspiring’ and ‘engaging’.”

In the press release received by People Matters, Indeed said that it uses a proprietary algorithm to rank companies using a variety of factors such as average ratings, number of reviews, and the history of job openings.
