To gear up for big billion days, Flipkart, one of the major e-commerce platforms, plans to hire 10,000 temporary staff to meet upcoming sale demand.

In order to meet big festive season demand, Flipkart, major e-commerce and top retailer hires temporary 10,000 staff in logistics and last-mile delivery. This move will help Flipkart to manage the expected surge as they will launch several annual festive period offers during this period. 

In a press statement, Nitin Seth, Flipkart Chief Administrative Officer said that in addition to encompass new capability of alternate delivery model, they will hire 10,000 temporary staff in logistics and last mile across the country.

Adding to press statement, they declared that their company’s hiring plans are in line with their business goals and it will continue to hire in key strategic areas. 

In the similar manner, Flipkart rival startup Snapdeal will also create similar number of temporary jobs between September 15 to November 15 with similar positions in logistics and delivery.
