Consulting firm PwC India which is celebrating its 150th anniversary in India has announced to increase its workforce in the next 3-4 years. According to the company, they will hire 10,000 people across priority areas such as cloud, digital, analytics, cyber and emerging technologies.

The new hiring is aimed to provide its people with a challenging and holistic work environment that is characterised by diversity, upskilling, and a focus on growth opportunities. 

For PwC India, the century and a half has been a journey of trust, resilience and value – a story of evolution and transformation aligned to the nation’s development.

“Our journey so far has been full of wins, achievements, and learnings. We have taken those learnings to become stronger, more focused and better positioned to deliver on our purpose of solving important problems and building a strong culture of respect, inclusion, and transparency,” said Sanjeev Krishan, Chairman, PwC in India.

With offices across the country, PwC India clocked 22% YoY revenue growth in the last fiscal, the firm is addressing the needs of the transformative journey that Indian businesses are undertaking by leveraging the strengths of its multidisciplinary practices. 

A majority of the recent investments by the firm are in the areas of technology and management consulting, risk, and deals, including organic acquisitions to deepen existing problem-solving capabilities and add scale. To tap the huge domestic market, PwC recently expanded its footprint by opening 3 new offices this year.

PwC in India kicks off its sesquicentennial celebrations with a series of high-decibel engagements with all its stakeholders, including clients, people and communities.
