Engineering solutions provider QuEST Global will be looking at hiring about 3000 people in India for its digital business over the next two years.

The move comes as digital becomes the core growth driver across the industry verticals the company operates in.

Earlier this year, the engineering solution provider acquired Mobiliya, an enterprise mobility firm. Mobiliya CEO Krish Kupathil, who now heads the hi-tech and digital vertical at QuEST said that the expansion would take place mainly in the Mobiliya business which now essentially is the digital business at QuEST. 

Currently, the Mobiliya team in India is 500 people strong. “The business is slated to grow at 20-30% given the trajectory we are on, with digital driving a lot of this growth,” he added. QuEST has been employing Mobiliya to offer digital solutions across the eight product verticals it is present in, which include aerospace, healthcare, transport, and industry. 

In addition to Pune, the company will also be adding people in Bengaluru and Trivandrum where it already has a presence. 

Set up by Ajit Prabhu, the Singapore headquartered QuEST is an over $500 Mn business with 11,000 employees globally. In the last few years, it has acquired over a dozen enterprises to beef up its software capabilities.
