Noiceboard, B2B Software as a service (SaaS) company has successfully raised Rs 8 Cr from technology-focused venture capital firm Stellaris Venture Partners and others. According to reports by ET, Stellaris led the round and other key partakers were YuMe cofounder Jayant Kadambi, BlackBuck founder Rajesh Yabaji and other investors from Stellaris’ founder network.

The aim for Noticeboard, Bengaluru-based communication platform is to digitally empower employees with organizational communication, including smartphones. Basically, the focus is to enable frontline staff including logistics delivery boys, retail store-front employees, warehouse employees with real –time communication

Vishal Gahlaut, CEO of Noticeboard, says, “Smartphone and data penetration have ensured that even the lowest rung of employees have access to smartphones. Given that they are digitally connected, there is no reason why information should reach them in the same broken manner as it has been so over the past years. At Noticeboard, we want to bring them into the formal model of official communication where anything that the company is doing, information on their role, their needs, payslips, and grievances can be addressed digitally.”

The capital raised will be used by the firm to fortify its technology, design team, and product as a whole. To do so it plans to hire new talent that could really boost their plans and team that could understand nuances of the small screen to make the information more accessible to all.

Gahlaut and Vishesh Dahinwal and Sarath Chandran are founders of Noticeboard, who are also former executives of Myntra. The company plans to expand further into the international markets. Currently, it is working with companies in the e-commerce, logistics, retail brand, auto rentals, food tech, and also hotel aggregation space.
