In a major consolidation in the enterprise learning and development (L&D) ecosystem, upGrad for Business, the B2B arm of edtech major upGrad, has onboarded Swapnil Kamat, CEO - Work Better, and his team to strengthen its enterprise L&D offerings.

Mumbai-based Work Better is a soft skills, sales and leadership training company that helps boost productivity in the workforce, through their result-focused learning approach encompassing a wide array of classroom and virtual learning solutions.  Work Better holds a strong network of 300+ large corporates and 250+ trainers to offer diverse solutions ranging from sales training programmes, leadership development, customer services, business communication, and professional effectiveness.

According to Citi GPS’ (Global Perspectives & Solutions) September 2021 report, L&D is increasingly being viewed as a strategic investment, and two in three organisations are looking to plug the skills gap through internal upskill and reskill training initiatives. The combined might of upGrad for Business and Work Better shall take the crusade forward by training professionals with an asynchronous learning approach wherein the learning content is tailor-made to suit their career aspirations and professional journey.

As per Technavio Research report, the global soft skills training market has the potential to grow by $14.9 billion by 2024, and is expected to exceed $ 60.89 billion by 2031, expanding at a CAGR of 12.7% during the period, as per TMR’s study. It’s been widely accepted that enterprise L&D is the next frontier for global education.
