Embassy Group reinforces its people-first culture with extended festive leave, encouraging employees to pause, recharge, and reconnect with their loved ones.

In a move that underscores the growing importance of mental health in the workplace, Embassy Group, one of India’s leading real estate developers, has announced a nine-day festive break for its employees from October 18 to October 26, 2025.

This much-awaited initiative — returning after enthusiastic employee response in previous years — is designed to give employees a genuine opportunity to switch off from work, spend quality time with their families, and return to work refreshed and rejuvenated. Amid the rising awareness around burnout and stress in corporate India, Embassy’s decision reflects a strong commitment to employee wellness and sustainable productivity. Research consistently shows that extended breaks can significantly enhance mental well-being, creativity, and long-term engagement, helping individuals return to work with renewed focus and energy.

“As an organisation, we deeply value the individuals who power our growth,” said Maria Rajesh, Chief Human Resources Officer, Embassy Developments Limited. “In today’s always-on culture, it’s important to pause, rest, and reconnect. Initiatives like our festive break are rooted in the belief that well-being and recognition are essential for sustained success.”

The festive period will also feature Embassy’s annual Diwali celebration and gift-giving, reinforcing community spirit and togetherness within the workplace. Beyond this initiative, Embassy continues to strengthen its holistic wellness framework through its ‘Well-being on the Web’ programme — a digital platform offering expert-led mental health resources, counselling, and self-care tools to employees.

With its progressive HR practices and people-first approach, Embassy Group continues to set a benchmark for employee experience and workplace culture in India’s real estate industry — proving that productivity thrives where people are valued, rested, and mentally strong.
