Centum Learning organizes Conference on Quality in CBSE schools

The conference will have prominent educationalists and speakers expressing their views about the futuristic teaching methods

Centum Learning, a leading organization in the global skills development and vocational training landscape, in collaboration with CBSE and Lucknow Sahodaya has organized a two-day conference on critical quality related challenges in the school ecosystem from May 19-20, 2015 at Hotel Dayal Paradise, Lucknow. This conference aims to bring together educationists, educational planners, policy leaders, principals and teachers to reflect upon, deliberate, ideate, review existing educational scenario and prepare a roadmap for implementing quality initiatives in contemporary school environment.

The conference will have prominent educationalists and speakers expressing their views about the futuristic teaching methods and role of principals and teachers in making students global citizens. The emphasis will be on quality standards and assessments, teacher training, ICT deployment and outcome based learning methods to be deployed in the Indian school education system.

The conference is being attended by Principals, Vice Principals, Trustees and members of school management, Think tanks and subject matter experts, Government and policy makers.

Speaking on the occasion, Sanjeev Duggal, CEO and Director, Centum Learning said, “While providing Vocational Education in schools is an most important aspect of the entire gamut of Skills Development but what is more important is the quality of education that is provided. We are committed to working around systems of quality assurance at the institutional level and examine how quality of education can be enhanced across the school ecosystem. Introducing students to vocational training of high quality at an early age is the most effective way to ensure that vocation training earns its rightful place in society.”

The two day conference will focus on the Change and the contemporary school environment, Changing Paradigm of Assessments, making Quality a key indicator, Frameworks, SQAA, Quality Initiatives in Schools, Excellence in School Leadership and People & Process Management: Stakeholder Management in School Space.The conference has an interesting mix of nearly 75 participants to capture the diverse perspectives.
