OpenAI, which is the maker of ChatGPT, has announced the appointment Pragya Misra as the public policy head.  According to a Bloomberg report, Misra has become the first employee of ChatGPT in India.

Misra is expected to join OpenAI by the end of the month, as per the report.

In her previous roles, Misra, 39, has worked with Truecaller as the public affairs head where she nurtured relationships with key stakeholders, including government, media partners, civil society, and investors to forward agenda of safety in digital communication

She also worked with Meta, where she led WhatsApp’s campaign against misinformation in 2018.
