Thierry Bolloré steps down as CEO of Jaguar Land Rover
Jaguar Land Rover CEO Thierry Bollore has resigned after serving in this position for two years. Tata Motors announced the change, which will take effect on December 31.
Upon this announcement, a decision has been made that Jaguar’s chief financial officer Adrian Mardell will serve as interim CEO, while Tata will look for the permanent CEO in India.
Jaguar will have to deal with a change of management during a time of disruption caused by the shortage of semiconductor computer chips, according to a report in The Guardian.
Bolloré said in a statement: "I am immensely proud of what we have achieved together at Jaguar Land Rover over the past two years."
“The company's transformation and acceleration towards a sustainable, profitable future as a modern luxury business is moving forward at a rapid pace. I would like to thank the whole team for their dedication and passion and I wish the entire organisation the very best for the future.”
Bollore joined the company in the role in July 2020, succeeding Sir Ralf Speth, who led the company for a decade.
