Vijaya Diagnostic Center has announced the appointment of Sura Suprita Reddy as the new MD and CEO. The diagnostic chain has approved Sura’s appointment to the post for a consecutive five-year term during the annual general meeting. Sura’s appointment to the post is effective from July 1, 2023.

Sura, a Commerce graduate from Osmania University, has been a member of the company since 2003 and has been responsible for overseeing the company’s overall strategy, clinical excellence, operations, and expansion since that time.

She has previously been a director of Medinova Diagnostic Services Limited, Namrata Diagnostic Centre Private Limited, Park Health Systems Private Limited, and Doctorslab Medical Services Private Limited. She has also been a director of our Company from 2014 to 2019. She has been awarded the 'Women Leadership Award in Healthcare' by ABP in 2019.

Following the appointment of a new MD, there was an increase of over 1% in shares in early trading on September 25.
