Tata-owned Air India reveals new logo and design

Tata Group has unveiled a new logo, branding, and plane livery for Air India. Travelers will begin to see the new logo and design starting December 2023.

Replacing the old logo of a red swan and orange spokes inside the swan, inspired by the Ashoka Chakra, the airline’s new logo contains golden, red, and purple colours.

“Revealing the bold new look of Air India. Our new livery and design features a palette of deep red, aubergine, gold highlights and a chakra-inspired pattern. Travellers will begin to see the new logo and design starting December 2023,” reads a post on the social media site X.

The new appearance creatively transforms the Indian window silhouette, previously used by Air India, into an elegant gold window frame that takes a central role in the fresh brand design framework. This design encapsulates the concept of a 'Window of Possibilities,' representing a symbol of potential and new horizons.
