Community engagement and hiring platform for students and graduates, Unstop has raised $5 million as its first funding round

The round was led by Mynavi, Japan’s leading Job Board and HRTech firm. Coursera. The investment round also included participation from Venture Catalysts and 9Unicorns, and Pankaj Bansal through his fund Caret Capital.

“After months of planning, strategising, and meetings, Unstop has changed its status from #bootstrapped to #funded,” announces Ankit Aggarwal, CEO Unstop in a Linkedin post.

“This is a strategic collaboration of partners from varying domains and geographies - Mynavi Corporation, Japan’s leading Job Board and HRTech firm, Coursera, one of the largest online learning platforms in the world with operations in India, Pankaj Bansal through his fund Caret Capital, and 9Unicorns & Venture Catalysts,” he wrote.

According to Aggarwal, this partnership will open new doors for Unstop to create a global presence while penetrating deep into India. “For everyone at Unstop, this news pumps up energy and gives us the confidence to keep moving forward to achieve our mission,” he added.
