Ravi Kumar S. resigns from Infosys as President after two decades of association
Ravi Kumar S. concludes his two-decades-long association with IT giant Infosys. Kumar announced his resignation from the company President’s post, effective October 11, in a LinkedIn post.
In his message, he mentioned, “After 20 wonderful years at Infosys, I want to let you all know that I’m moving on to explore new experiences and broaden my horizons. During these 20 years, I was blessed to work with wonderful people, great leaders, extraordinary mix of experiences, running a diverse set of roles globally, imbibed a lifelong learning culture and enjoyed the entrepreneurial spirit of this wonderful platform, Infosys…”
Earlier, Ravi had a successful stint with the US Chamber of Commerce as a Member of the Board of Directors. During his tenure at Infosys, he has parallelly held positions of independent director with other organisations such as TransUnion and Digimarc.
In his message, he further noted, “I’m deeply indebted and very grateful to everyone involved in my journey. A lot of friends for life, great experiences, emotional moments and so many milestones we celebrated together will stay forever in my memories. As I embark on my new endeavor, I will always cheer for Infosys and will stay grateful to all of you amazing people and look forward to staying in touch.”
After completing chemical engineering at Shivaji University, Ravi pursued MBA from Xavier Institute of Management. In between the two, he also worked as a scientist at the Bhaba Atomic Research Centre. However, after completing MBA, he joined the corporate world and began working as a senior consultant at PWC.
