HP to cut 34,000 jobs

With the PC sales market taking a hit, HP has reported plans to cut around 34,000 jobs by October as part of its multi-year restructuring program to cut costs. In July last year, HP had estimated eliminating about 29,000 positions through fiscal year 2014. HP was able to return to profitability in fiscal 2013 compared to severe losses in 2012.
