Prabir Jha set to join Reliance Industries

According to an Economic Times report, Prabir Jha, senior vice-president and CHRO at Tata Motors is set to join Reliance Industries. Attributing the new to top sources in the recruitment industry, ET said that 46-year-old Jha has been offered the role, but is yet to decide. However, A Tata Motors spokesperson said that Jha has resigned, the report added.

The chief HR officer post has been vacant at RIL since 2009. Vivek Paranjpe was brought in as an advisor in 2010. Industry sources told ET that the search for the right candidate has been on for almost a year.

Jha joined Tata Motors in 2010 and heads the HR, industrial resources, administration, CSR, safety, health and environment portfolios for Tata Motors.
