Bharat Puri named MD Pidilite

Pidilite has appointed ex-Cadbury’s executive Bharat Puri as its MD. The appointment will be effective from April 10. The move is aimed at reducing operational responsibilities of the promoter family, the Parekhs. This is the first time the company has appointed a person who does not belong to the company it the role of MD.
