Bharti Airtel’s head of products puts in his papers

Bharti Airtel’s chief product officer Anand Chandrasekaran, who had joined the company in April last year from Yahoo, has put in his papers. Bharti had created a new slot — chief product officer — for Chandrasekaran. Chandrasekaran was assigned to improve the company’s data services, lead product conceptualisation, design and development across the consumer business segment and to adopt content-based data plans. He is credited with launching Bharti Airtel’s music app platform Wynk, besides revamping apps such as airtel money and myairtel, among others.
