Indian Hotels MD Rakesh Sarna gets hefty pay

Shareholders of Indian Hotels have approved the hefty pay package of Rs 18.4 crore per annum to the recently appointed MD, Rakesh Sarna. This is contrary to the growing trend of opposition to large pay packages to corporate honchos. Sarna’s remuneration is significantly higher than his peers in the industry.
