IT industry to recover by mid-2010: Infosys

India’s leading IT and software services provider has forecast the recovery for IT industry in the country by mid 2010. In an interactive session with journalists in India’s southern city of Chennai, S. Gopalakrishnan, the CEO of Infosys India Ltd. said that the Indian IT companies have matured in the 30 years and acquired financial strength and leadership capabilities.

“We have to be cautious and have to wait to understand that the recovery is real. I strongly believe the revival is happening. We have to invest wisely and do a few good things and prepare for the recovery,” said Gopalakrishnan.
