MD & CEO roles to open in PSBs

PSU banks are now looking at top-level hiring. The finance ministry website put up a communiqué in the last week of February, seeking applications for MD and CEO — a newly created post — in public sector banks. As the majority shareholder, the government drove the selection process of executive director and CMD (a post that will now split into chairman and MD & CEO).
