New Pepsico Head appointed

Pepsico named former Nokia senior executive, D Shivakumar, as its new Chairman and CEO for the India region. He will be responsible for strategic deployment of the Rs. 33,000 crore investment in the country. Shivakumar succeeds Manu Anand, who quit the company in June and joined Cadbury India as MD. Sanjeev Chadha, CEO of Pepsico Asia, Middle-East, and Africa was overseeing India operations since Anand left.
