Umakanta Choudhury appointed ED at BHEL

BHEL has appointed Umakanta Choudhury, the current General Manager in-charge of BHEL Corporate R&D Division has been promoted as Executive Director with effect from December 22. He is a graduate from REC Rourkela, and a Doctorate from IIT Kharagpur. He has been with BHEL since 1981.
