More women joined Boards in 2014

According to news report by the Economic Times, more women joined the Boards of companies in 2014 compared to any other year. A key contributor to this trend is the new directive in the Companies Act which mandates appointing atleast 1 women director on the Board. Nearly 500 pubicly listed companies appointed a woman Director in 2014.
