Bank strike on Feb 10-11

Talks between the United Forum of Bank Unions and the Central Chief Labour Commissioner to avert the all-India bank strike scheduled on February 10-11 have failed. The union was demanding a five-year wage revision package. The union said that the talks failed because the management had nothing new to offer.
