Hargovind Adhikari quits Citi, joins Mondelez international as Global People Lead RDQ

Mondelez international has named Hargovind Adhikari as it new Global People Lead RDQ (Beverages, Gums, Candy and Meals). Adhikari has quit Citi, where he was responsible for crafting and driving Talent development, Learning, Diversity and Inclusion initiatives.

Adhikari had joined Citi in 2010, and over the last decade moved progressively across various roles in Human Resources including business partnering for the Consumer and Commercial Bank, driving HR strategy and planning for Citi, South Asia before leading the Talent Management, Learning and Diversity function for the Consumer Bank in India.

In his new role, as Global People Lead for the RDQ( Research, Development, and Quality) function, he will work with the global business leaders in the US as well as key stakeholders in Asia, Middle East, and Africa region.

Before Citi, he worked with Talent and Organization consulting function at erstwhile Hewitt Associates where he was focused on the design and implementation of commercially viable strategies and solutions for clients across industries and geographies.

Hargovind received his Master's degree in Human Resources Management and Labour Relations from Tata School of Social Sciences, Mumbai. He is also a People Matters 'Are You in The List' winner and was also recognized as one of the HR 40 under 40 leaders by Jombay in the past. He has worked in diverse industries such as Oil & Gas, Telecom, Banking & Financial services, and Management Consulting and it is this experience which Mondelez is hoping to leverage in his new role.
