2.5% of state salary budgets to be set aside for training

The Center has asked all states to set aside 2.5% of their overall salary budget for training. The move is targeted to match competencies with jobs of state government employees. The Center has also asked all the states to follow the National Training Policy 2012, stating the need for matching current and future competencies with jobs.
