Deficit of chemistry graduates

Bengaluru’s pharma companies face a skill deficit with the dwindling number of Chemistry graduates in the city. An increasing number of students in Bangalore opt for technology-centred degrees, thereby creating a gap between demand and supply of chemistry graduates. There are over 60 pharma companies in and around Bengaluru facing the skill shortage of pharma graduates.
