IITs, IIMs to open MOOCs

The IITs and the IIMs are considering opening Massive Online Open Courses (MOOCs) as response to the PMs Swayam Bharat program. IIT-B and IIM-B have already announced the launch of MOOCs with overseas partners and IIM-C is next in line. Besides that IIT-Kanpur is in the process of developing courses for MOOCs in the fields of agriculture and computer science.
