Aegis set to recruit 3,000

The BPO arm of the Essar Group, Aegis, plans to recruit 3,000 new employees for its India-focused business by the end of the current fiscal. The hiring comes at a time when the demand for back-office services in the domestic market has surged. Around 22,000 employees work in the domestic unit of the company that has a 55,000-strong workforce.
