Hackathon hiring trend picks up

Many companies are moving away from screening candidates through resumes as the latest trend is to shortlist candidates through hackathons. Several hot employers in India, including startups and product companies are conducting hackathon competitions to screen candidates. Hackathons are famed to reduce time to hire candidates by one-third.
