IT firms on a race to hire engineers

IT firms across the country is on a spree to hire more engineers as they experienced phases of growth. Analysts comment that the industry is yet to decouple growth in revenue from growth in numbers. The industry is characterised by non-linear growth in the last couple of years. According to estimates, the industry hires an average of 14350 engineers against each billion dollar of growth.
