Shortage of women directors

Over a third of NSE companies still lack women directors despite SEBI deadline. 526 out of 1471 companies listed in the NSE are yet to appoint the required number of women directors. According to estimates from now on of the SEBI deadline is to be met, then an average of nine appointments will need to be made for the next two months.
