Talent Acquisition

Sketchnote: Four Advantages of Science-driven Talent Acquisition

Over the past few decades a quiet revolution has taken place in the corporate world, putting enormous pressure on the organizations to change the way they operate. The traditional approach to recruitment has not kept up with the changes and continues to rely on resumes, interviews and gut feeling. It is, for the most part, a hit-and-miss approach where success is always unpredictable and never reproducible. There is an alternative – a data-driven, scientific approach that does not just use candidates’ superficial presentation of their achievements in a résumé, but instead works with their fundamental behavior which successfully matches candidates to target roles.

Through this sketch note, let's understand the advantages of using the scientific approach to recruitment. This sketch note is based on an article by Jill Strange, Ph.D., Director, HCM Behavioral Science at Infor.
