Bhaskar Pramanik has been appointed as the new chairman of Microsoft India. Pramanik who will report to Microsoft International president Jean-Philippe Courtois, takes over from Ravi Venkatesan who quit the company recently.
Prior to this, Pramanik served as Managing Director for Oracle India and Sun Microsystems.
